Got
invited to attend the 40th sacerdotal anniversary of Bp. Yiet Cabajog, the bishop of Surigao last April 9, 2021. Hence I took the opportunity to go the
beach after the restriction of travels due to the pandemic. After the
celebration I had a whole day free before leaving for Butuan for the
flight back to Manila. I decided to
explore Basul island which could be seen from the city itself and the Mabua
Pebble Beach aside from visiting the Battle of Surigao Strait Museum. On the way to Butuan, I also passed some parish churches.
