While we were on our way in Cagayan coming from Lal-lo going
to Pamplona, we saw a sign leading to
Apayao. Since it was only about six kilometers away we decided to make a short
detour in order to visit at least one town of Apayao, Luna. Luna, formerly
known as Macatel is the capital town of the northernmost province of the
Cordillera Autonomous region of Apayao. We visited the Capitol which was on top
of a hill.
