THE CHURCHES OF LA UNION

              On our way back to Manila from a recent trip to Abra, aside from visiting the churches of Ilocos Sur, we also passed by six churches of La Union which were along the way.  These were the parish churches of the towns of Sudipen, Bangar, Balaoan, Bacnotan, San Juan and Bauang.

The Beach in San Juan

The town of San Juan is noted as a beach and surfing destination.  

There were no waves at all when we passed by the sea of San Juan.
