The CBCP secretariat staff were invited by Abp. Du to his hometown in Bantayan Island, Cebu for an outing. The excursion included visits to the Minor Basilica of the Sto. Niño de Cebu and the Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral. We also passed by the parish of Fr. Marvin Mejia in Consolacion were he prepared breakfast for us on the way to Bantayan Island. In coming back from Bantayan we also visited the Chapel where the Venerable Teofilo Camomot is buried in Valladolid, Carcar. We also visited the Simala Shrine.
